9th October 2003 Windsurfing: Bala Wind Direction: wsw Wind Stength: force 3 Surf / Sea State: calm Air Temperature: 16 Sea Temperature: Weather: Cloudy rain Max Speed: Distance Covered: Although the wind direction was not idea for Bala, thought that it was the best chance to catch some of this wind, so another hastily book 1/2 day holiday. Clive and I arrived to a procession of wind horses and quickly rigged up the smallest sails, only to find when out on the water that it had dropped considerable. So back in for larger sails. Good sailing around for the rest of the afternoon with the occasional gust getting us up on the plane. Again the whole lake to ourselves - which is nice. |
